Official Rules

This promotion is a contest. This contest is not a raffle or a lottery.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

 

1. ELIGIBILITY

The Park Pouches National Parks Photo Contest (the "Contest") is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by law. Subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Employees of Park Pouches and their immediate family members (parents, children, spouse, siblings) and those living in the same household are not eligible to enter.

 

2. CONTEST PERIOD

The Contest begins on June 1, 2026 at 5:00pm Pacific Time and closes on August 30, 2026 at 11:59pm Pacific Time. Entries submitted before or after this period will not be considered.

 

3. HOW TO ENTER

Participants must be following @park.pouches on Instagram at the time of entry. There are three ways to enter:
• Instagram Photo Submission: Post a photo or reel of yourself using your Park Pouches sleeve, tag @park.pouches, and use #parkpouchcontest. Your Instagram account must be public at the time of submission. By submitting, you grant Park Pouches permission to repost your content for promotional purposes. Each qualifying photo submission counts as 50 entries into the random drawing.
• Email Photo Submission: Email your photo to info@parkpouches.com with the subject line "Park Pouches Contest Entry." Include your Instagram handle. By submitting, you grant Park Pouches permission to post your photo on our account for promotional purposes. Each qualifying photo submission counts as 50 entries into the random drawing.
• Free Entry (No Purchase Necessary): Tag a friend in the comments of the official contest post on @parkpouches. Each tag counts as one entry into the random drawing, up to a maximum of 10 entries per person via this method.

 

4. ENTRY LIMITS & ELIGIBILITY

• One Instagram account per person. Duplicate or fraudulent accounts will be disqualified.
• Limit one prize per person or household.
• Entries generated through automated means, bots, scripts, or third-party services are not eligible and will be void.
• AI-generated images are not eligible and will be disqualified. • Entries featuring sleeves or products not produced by Park Pouches are not eligible and will be disqualified.
• All entries become the property of Park Pouches and will not be returned or acknowledged.
• Park Pouches reserves the right to disqualify any entry deemed fraudulent, inappropriate, or in violation of these rules.

 

LEGAL WARNING: Any attempt by any individual to deliberately damage, destroy, tamper with, or interfere with the operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Park Pouches reserves the right to seek damages and pursue all remedies and criminal prosecution against any such individual to the fullest extent permitted by law.

 

5. PRIZES

• Grand Prize (1 winner): Three (3) 1-year America the Beautiful National Parks Passes, awarded to the best photo as judged by Park Pouches. Approximate retail value: $240.

• Runner-Up (2 winners): 1-year America the Beautiful National Parks Pass each, drawn randomly from all eligible entries. Approximate retail value: $80 each.

Annual pass prizes will be purchased by Park Pouches within one (1) year of the contest end date of August 30, 2026, at the winner's choice of timing. The grand prize winner will receive a 1-year pass purchased annually. Winners may select either a physical or virtual pass card at their discretion. Winners who select a physical pass card will be required to provide a valid U.S. mailing address for delivery. Park Pouches is not responsible for prizes lost or undelivered due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the winner. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative. Park Pouches reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.

 

6. TAXES
All prizes are considered taxable income under U.S. federal and applicable state tax laws. Winners are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes owed on prizes received. Park Pouches will issue any required tax documentation if the prize value meets IRS reporting thresholds.
 

7. WINNER SELECTION & NOTIFICATION

• The Grand Prize winner will be selected by Park Pouches based on photo quality, creativity, and relevance to the contest theme. All judging decisions are final and binding.

• The two Runner-Up winners will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries.

• Winners will be announced on August 31, 2026 and contacted via Instagram DM or email within 24 hours.

• Winners must respond within 5 business days of notification to claim their prize. Failure to respond will result in forfeiture and a new winner will be selected.

• Winners may be required to verify their identity and eligibility before receiving their prize.

• Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes each winner's permission for Park Pouches to use their name and home state for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation.

 

8. ODDS

Odds of winning the random drawing depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

 

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

By submitting a photo, entrants grant Park Pouches a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, and share the submitted content on Park Pouches' social media accounts and website for promotional purposes.

 

10. RELEASE OF LIABILITY

By participating in this Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Park Pouches and its employees, officers, and agents from any and all liability for any injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in this Contest, including but not limited to:

• Any injury, accident, or harm sustained while taking, capturing, or submitting photos for this Contest. Participation and photo-taking activities are undertaken at the entrant's own risk.

• Any injury, accident, loss, or harm of any kind that occurs during the winner's use of the National Parks pass prize. The pass is provided as-is and use of national park facilities is subject to the rules, terms, and conditions of the National Park Service.

 

11. RIGHT TO CANCEL OR MODIFY

Park Pouches reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest at any time for any reason beyond its control. Park Pouches is not responsible for any typographical or other errors in the promotion or administration of this Contest.

 

12. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES

This Contest shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of California, U.S.A. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Contest shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action. Any claims or awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs associated with entering this Contest. Entrants waive any rights to attorney's fees, indirect, special, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages.

 

13. DISCLAIMERS

This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered, or associated with Instagram, the U.S. Government, or the National Park Service. By entering, participants release Instagram, the U.S. Government, and the National Park Service from any and all liability related to this Contest.

 

14. GENERAL CONDITIONS

• No purchase necessary to enter or win.

• Park Pouches' decisions on all Contest matters are final and binding.

• Park Pouches is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries.

• Void where prohibited by law.
